UV Product Range

Originally supplying concentrates for cold-set, heat-set and sheet fed conventional lithographic ink use, D & D Dispersions now also supply pigmented bases for UV curing inks. With our own range of concentrates available, we also offer a toll manufacturing service, completed in strictest confidence.

Technical problems associated with pigmenting acrylated resin systems can be avoided by the use of pre-dispersed single colour versions, allowing quick conversion of base into ink using a standard blending system.

Concentrates for lithographic and screen ink applications were first on the range and more recently, we have developed a concentrate system for UV flexographic inks. As concentrates contain no photo-initiator at this stage, total flexibility is afforded to the formulator (Inhibitor is added to maintain shelf life).

With D & D Dispersions working in this way with our customers, stockholding of products may be reduced and orders filled closer to the time of requirement, freeing liquid cash.
